Face life positively
The biggest hope for patients with cancer is to face life positively.
Face life positively, there is always hope for tomorrow
Sekine Susumu (Chinese 关根进) is the former chief editor of more than ten Japanese magazines. One of the magazines, 《POST Weekly》 had an outstanding record and published over a million copies. Ten years ago, he was unfortunately diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Since his wife and relatives were doctors, they were all aware that surgery could be a “fatal” thing. Sekine Susumu refused surgery and ignored the doctor’s warning to seek alternative therapies for his condition.
He found Tian Xian Liquid through the Internet and started taking it. Now he has survived beyond the maximum limitation of a five-year survival prognosis. Sekine Susumu knows that patients will go blank when they hear their doctors announce that they have cancer. They need support and help. Therefore, Sekine Susumu used a report format to write about his own experience, and provide it to the people of Japan. Meanwhile, he systematized his ideas, which changed into “SlowHealth therapy and regimen therapy”. He also established the “SlowHealth Research Association”. By using rational and moderate forms of treatment, it enables patients to achieve the effect of life-prolongation and open up a new life. At an anti-aging conference held in Tokyo, Sekine Susumu was invited to give a lecture promoting his SlowHeath and regimen therapy which was juxtaposed with the ideas of other internationally renowned experts and scholars. Sekine Susumu emphasized the basic concept of three elements: body, mind and spirit; maintain a happy mood and immunity would then increase naturally. He said, “When faced with cancer, the biggest toxin is you giving up on yourself; the best remedy is hope and optimism.”
For patients with cancer, the best physicians are themselves working on patient-centered care. Sekine Susumu’s ideas are gradually becoming valued. He recently wrote a new health handbook; he selected material and wrote articles from patients' standpoints. The purpose for establishing this handbook was to allow patients to better understand themselves, because general medical knowledge and hospitals' therapeutic methods were not particularly suitable for patients and their families. This magazine was called, “Life Guide Book”. Although five thousand copies were printed plus an additional one thousand and five hundred copies, it was impossible to compare it with his record of one million copies and yet Sekine Susumu still enjoyed working on it. After Sekine Susumu recovered, he started a new journey in life. He told others having similar life experiences how he learned about Tian Xian Liquid and how to find a situation of therapeutic forms for their own condition: The biggest hope for patients with cancer is to face life positively.
